What is a username?

A name you choose for yourself that lets you get into Peerdate.com. It is usually what people know you as at Peerdate.com.

How much does it cost to post an Ad?

Posting an Ad at Peerdate is completely free of charge so go ahead and start interacting with others who share the same interests as you and have fun!

How can I edit or change my Ad?

By going to review your Ad.  Once you log in with your username and password, your Ad will be displayed for you to edit.  Just follow the steps laid out.

How can I be sure to get the most out of Peerdate service?

First, one thing that is known for sure is that people love to see Ads with photos.  Receive more e-mails and get your match sooner by posting a clear and well lit photo of yourself.

Second, join the Peerdate Club!  As a member of the club you can respond to as many Ads as you wish, giving you a much bigger scope of finding your match.  You can also write directly to other eligible singles of the Peerdate Club.

Do I have to be a member of Peerdate Club in order to see all the Ads?

You can access all the Ads without being a member of the Peerdate Club but you cannot contact the people.

Can I post an Ad at Peerdate and join the Peerdate Club later?

You can post an Ad at Peerdate – it is free.  Members of the Peerdate Club can write  to you Ad but you would not be able to respond back.

Once I post an Ad, do I have to wait until somebody finds it some day?
At Peerdate we have the Match Notify facility, a free service whereby every time we receive matches close to your search criteria we will e-mail them to members.  It is up to you, if you are a member, to decide whether to respond back or not, so you could also find a match before they find you!

How can I delete my Ad?

By sending us an e-mail and instructing us to do so.

I already have an Ad at Peerdate.  How can I add a photo?

If you have a photo of yourself in your computer, you can just go to review your Ad.  Once you are logged in go to upload photo to immediately upload it to your Ad. 

Can I upload any photo to my Ad?

The photo you upload should be gif or jpeg because most browsers display graphic files in that format.  Photos in this format are also compressed better. The photo must be less than 100k as large photos take too long to download for the average internet user.

Can I use a black and white photo for my Ad?

Black and white photos are very flattering so go ahead and use one.

I do not have a photo in my computer.  Are there other ways I can get one to be added to my Ad?

You can send a clear and well lit photo of yourself to us by post and we will scan it up for you absolutely free of charge. It should be no larger than 5 x 7 inches and  BE SURE TO INDICATE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS THAT YOU USED TO PLACE AN ADD WITH US to help us in identification. Note that photos cannot be returned

How long will my photo take to appear on my Ad?

If you upload a photo from your computer, it will only take a few minutes and it will appear.  If you e-mail or send one by post, you must allow a few days especially for the one sent by post because it depends when it will get to us.  Once we receive it, it should appear within 24 hours – keep checking your Ad.

How can I delete my photo?
